Greetings Bulldog Family,

It is with great joy and excitement that I welcome you to the 2025-2026 school year at Weeksville Elementary School! I am truly honored to continue serving as the principal of this amazing school and leading such an incredible group of Bulldogs.

Over the past 26 years in education, I have served as an elementary classroom teacher, AIG Facilitator, Instructional Coach, High School Assistant Principal, and Elementary Principal. I am originally from the mountains of Pennsylvania—Go Steelers!—and attended Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA, where I also played college football. After graduation, I decided I had seen enough snow and moved to Virginia Beach to begin my teaching career. This is where I met my wonderful wife, who is also an elementary principal. After 17 years of teaching and living in Virginia Beach, we built our home here in Elizabeth City. For the past nine years, I have been proud to serve in ECPPS and I continue to love every moment of working with this community.

At Weeksville, we are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where every student can achieve academic and personal success. Alongside our dedicated staff, I will continue to build strong partnerships with families and community members to ensure that all Bulldogs are prepared for the next steps in life. Together, we will focus on a well-rounded approach to learning that helps our students grow as confident, capable, and caring young people.
