Greetings Bulldog Family!

It is with great pleasure  and excitement that I introduce myself as the Principal of Weeksville Elementary School. I am honored to have the opportunity to lead these amazing Bulldogs! Over the past 24 years, I have served as an elementary classroom teacher,  AIG Facilitator, Instructional Coach, High School Assistant Principal, and Elementary Principal.  I am originally from the mountains of Pennsylvania, GO Steelers!! I attended Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA where it snowed from late October to May and also played college football.  After graduation I decided I had seen enough snow and moved to Virginia Beach to begin my teaching career.  This is where I met my amazing wife who is also in education and an Elementary Principal.  After 17 years of teaching and living in Virginia Beach we decided to build a home in Elizabeth City.  For the past 7 years I have been with ECPPS and loving every minute of working here.  I am excited to bring all my educational experiences to Weeksville Elementary School and look forward to working with each of you as we collaborate for the success of our Bulldog Students.  Along with an amazing  teaching and support staff, I will work diligently to continue the success that Weeksville continues to make by building lasting relationships with parents, students, and community partners. We will focus on a well rounded academic success approach for each student by offering opportunities to grow as young men and women ready for the next steps in life.  Because here at Weeksville Elementary School our motto is “Everything You Do, Every Day, Matter!”
